Amidst the cubicles, models posed in heavily embellished looks with all-over beading, Coq feathered skirts, and embroidered lace. Jewelry was again provided by young talent Vilaiwan Fine Jewelry. The complete collection was put on display in a back room with clients, including actress Mayim Bialik of Blossom fame, able to browse through the stuffed racks for a better look.
“My collection this year was based on the city I love, Paris. It’s the mystique, the glamour, the beauty that I always find there,” says Wong, who wore an Issey Miyake jacket. ”Italy to me is very male but Paris is definitely woman. It’s high style.”
Speaking of Italy, I was kind of obsessed with these Prada shoes, pictured below. The very chic woman wearing them explained how she got them in Italy and that she wears them everywhere. Fabulous.
