Last Thursday, LA designer Brian Lichtenberg launched his tee collaboration for Forever 21 ($14.80 each) on the rooftop terrace of the Beverly Center, filled with DIY fun, gratis tees, champagne and small bites. Lichtenberg, who’s known for his fashion-forward designs which incorporate unique fabrications, plays on proportion and volume, and geometric detail by way of prints, cutouts, and more, has a strong and youthful following that came out to see the designer and, hopefully, bring home a prize… (The crowd and DIY after the jump.)
DIYers were able to enter their tees to be judged by Lichtenberg—the winner brought home a tee from the designer’s namesake line, a piece of jewelry from Alex & Chloe, and a $50 Forever 21 gift card. I was impressed by the quality of the collab tees—very soft and a nice fit. I brought home the style with the upside down nail polishes in pale gray.
(Party-goers, a number of which were wearing Lichtenberg’s body-con one-shoulder glitter dress.)
