Lilliam introduced me to accessories designer Yoko Homako by gifting me a fantastic origami-like necklace from the Homako line. I got another dose of Homako via Lilliam’s recent Sites feature on the designer. Then, we got word that Homako had some pieces at baby and kids boutique Eggy at 8365 West 3rd Street. In fact, Homako created pieces specifically for the shop —necklaces and headbands of felt, fabric, ribbon and beads, ranging from $50-$80, and in a very kid-centric palette… (More designs after the jump.)

The necklaces are unbelievably soft and lightweight, and just all around fun! And while these pieces were made with your little ones in mind, I would totally wear this felt and bead necklace above.
