When the husband and I (and, very key, my mom!) were planning our nuptials, I would’ve loved to have attended Unveiled: Bridal Style Revealed, happening Sunday, March 28 from 11am-4pm on Melrose Place. Monique Lhuillier, Carolina Herrera, and Temperley London will show bridal collections via in-store informal modeling; there will be an outdoor lounge featuring a curated selection of “the best of everything bridal,” including a host of distinguished vendors (Kate Somerville Skin Care, Bacara Resort & Spa, Williams-Sonoma, just-opened Bella Bridesmaid, The London West Hollywood, and more); plus experts such as Creative Intelligence owner Marc Friedland and top wedding planner Mindy Weiss will discuss the essentials at a “The State of the Union” panel.
Even if these designers and vendors are not in your budget, it’s likely worth the price of admission for the fantastic ideas and info you will glean. Tickets are $30 in advance (avail here), and $40 on-site; check-in is at 650 North La Cienega Boulevard.
