Had lots of fun in my further exploration of the new Marc by Marc Jacobs Men’s boutique at 8406 Melrose Avenue, checking out the new merch and newly merchandised shop. MbyMJ is already seeing the monetary benefits of expanding with an uptick in sales for men’s, as well as women’s next door, facilitating purchasing with a more clear view of the goods throughout both spaces.
What’s hot? The $1 visors, $40 cargo shorts, $10 boxer briefs, $98 Peseta Ukelele bag and navy denim have been going out the door in significant numbers. The clip-on bowties at $43 and $9 striped socks are also quite charming.
