As mentioned, new and vintage men’s and women’s boutique Apartment 3 has been searching for the proper home, having moved from its original La Brea space to Downtown, now settling at 4634 Hollywood Boulevard, east of Vermont.
Last night, the shop hosted a store preview, garnering a steady stream of shoppers with DJ, Lark cupcakes, mimosas and a curated selection of vintage at recession-friendly prices. There are many options between $30-$70 and a heaping $15 bin, which I snagged a tweedy plum blazer from.
The new space is fittingly in half of a duplex-turned-boutique, and appointed with vintage furnishings, including a fantastic black leather couch for $1,500. Everything else is in the two-figure range, with some specialty pieces that hover between $100-$150.
The addition of Apartment 3 to the street is also making for a nice cove of vintage spots, including gentlemanly Jake Vintage, Hotel de Ville Eyewear, and Ozzie Dots and Goodwill across the street.
Also of note, just a few minutes walk west is Confederacy, American Apparel and Cobras & Matadors.
Check the interior and the merch after the jump!
