Events – What To Look For At This Year’s Fashion’s Night Out

The press releases are coming fast and strong. Fashion’s Night Out is set to happen on September 8, 2011 and the amount of parties, sales, and events can seem a bit overwhelming. Like last year, the Beverly Center will be hosting a massive FNO event with Mayor Villaraigosa and Vogue‘s Lisa Love christening the festivities while Nicole Richie plays host. The Obika bar on the 6th floor will be completely transformed into an elevated runway platform with two different runway shows, featuring more than 40 models, starting at 5pm. There will be free parking and the new Jimmy Choo boutique will be opening that day. And that doesn’t count all the other sales, giveaways, and services going on throughout the mall. (A couple of more FNO highlights after the jump.)

Most store events are happy with shilling out Champagne and deals but I love when a boutique takes an extra incentive. 3.1 Phillip Lim boutique at 631 North Robertson Boulevard will be having a concert with the Cults, from 7pm-10pm. Refinery29 will be taking street style photos and proceeds of sales will benefit the Silver Lake Conservatory. Nice!

And over at the Westfield mall, LL Cool J will be hosting their festivities. Now, this would only be awesome if he takes his shirt off and starts rapping. You know what I mean!

Ok, there’s just way too many events happening. Thankfully, Racked LA has created a cool map to help you plan out your night. Where will you be?
