We know that Space 15 Twenty is already a mecca shopping space but last Thursday, they pushed it up a notch by teaming up with Refinery29 and LA Vintage Exchange for an LA Fashion Week shopping party. The courtyard was transformed into a flea market of sorts where designers/vendors like Maxine Dillon, Curatorial by Popomomo, C.Z. Falconer and many more showed off their wares with deep discounts. From vintage clothes to one-of-a-kind jewelry, the event was a great way to meet the designers, but boy was it hard not to go retail crazy with the great deals. Designer Maxine Dillon showed me her latest designs, a super chic new pouch made out of discarded leather and garments. It’s an exciting new direction for the designer, which I love. The pouches can be purchased on her website, and she’s also offering a service where you can send her a jacket you no longer where to create a custom-made pouch. I also loved the comfy poncho by C.Z. Falconer. This LA-based line has some lush apparel you just want to live in. And of course, LA Vintage Exchange owner Courtney Lowe had a great selection of vintage gear, including a stunning long skirt that was very Prada-like.
