Markets – Lee’s Liquors Making a Comeback on West 3rd

The former Lee’s Liquors space at 8572 West 3rd Street has been on the market for about a year. It’s such a cool A-frame building, I wondered what would be taking its place, and found out this week that Lee’s Liquors will actually be coming back with a revamped interior and entrance and new refrigeration. Robert Gabrielyan, who now owns Lee’s with his wife, says they’re shooting for a July 15 opening if permitting goes through. Just last week, while we were BYOW-ing at Breadbar for Yatai Ramen, the husband and I were lamenting the loss of a nearby liquor store on that stretch of West 3rd, so we’re glad to hear a little market will be returning… (A look at the interior after the jump.)
