Shops – Camper Coming, Inago Remodeling, Chinese Laundry Opens, Fendi Update, Forever 21 Takes Theater Space

Spanish shoe brand Camper, which used to have a boutique on Robertson Boulevard, is opening up in between Zara and Coffee Bean at the Farmers Market next to The Grove. The red awning and storefront are good news for men and women who are fans of Camper’s comfortable and stylish kicks. Over the years, I’ve found styles hit and miss, but there are always standouts within any of its collections… (Inago revamping, Beverly Center additions and closures after the jump.)

Inago at 8364 West 3rd Street is having a sale till June 14 (10% off first item, 20% off second, and up to 50% off the fifth item purchased, on already marked down items as well) in preparation for its remodel in which a staffer says the wall in between its two spaces (the brown space shown and the one neutral-hued space next to it) will be knocked down to create one very expansive shop. Inago has dabbled in menswear, but the staffer says the focus will be women’s.

Trendy, reasonably-priced shoe brand Chinese Laundry has opened a boutique at the Beverly Center on the seventh floor next to Louis Vuitton. You’ll find ultra-high heels and wedges with lots of hardware and embellishment priced from around $20-$130.

We heard Fendi was coming to the Beverly Center (along with Prada) but now we get the location, on the seventh floor in between Ferragamo and Burberry.

And, this is big news. Weho Daily reports that the Beverly Center Cinemas are closing for good this Thursday, and Forever 21 has bought the space. That’s going to be one big-ass Forever 21.
